Inspiration comes from two great cities where urban landscapes merge with water: Chicago on the edge of Lake Michigan and Marseilles beside the Mediterranean. For high summer, the collection plays with volume and the interaction between tight and loose.
CHICAGO
The straight and clean lines of Chicago's skyscrapers provide inspiration for the silhouette. The theme is focused on sophisticated urban dressing, with two-button and one-button single-breasted suits with slim lapels, a narrow construction and shorter jacket lengths.
MARSEILLE
A strong shift in mood to the deep south of France, where the orange-tinted rooftops and the yellow faded walls of the buildings of Marseille give depth to the colour palette.
The silhouette is less precise, more relaxed and easy. Linen and easy cotton fabrics dominate. Shirt-style jackets and polo shirts define the mood, with a touch of 1950s inspiration.

The BOSS Black women's collection is about the interplay between masculine and feminine design influences to create collections that are modern, dynamic and upbeat. It brings together contemporary tailoring often influenced by the cut of menswear with feminine pieces and details.
Sharp tailoring is balanced by a more relaxed, unstructured look for summer. Volume is a constant feature, contrasted with slimline for a play on proportions: a full tunic over skinny jeans, for example. Natural cottons and linens are the perfect fabrics for the season.

DAMNED COUTURE
The spirit of the season is light-hearted, upbeat, carefree and strongly individualistic.
For inspiration, we look to the West Coast of America and specifically to California where beach, coast and urban landscape provide a rich resource of ideas. There is a touch of 1950s in the mix, but always made modern and fresh with unexpected clashes. The charismatic spirit of rock legend Jim Morrison gives an edge to this summer’s collection.
